Ben Trevino

Board Member at Hawaii Open Data

Ben Trevino is an executive, entrepreneur, and technologist working to build a more equitable Hawaii. He most recently launched Biki, a 100 station and 1000 bike, municipal bike sharing system in Honolulu as its President and Chief Operating Officer. He is also a co-founder of Interisland Terminal, an arts and innovation non-profit which launched two public innovation spaces, R&D Bookstore & Cafe and the Kaka’ako Agora, and has produced over 50 public programs since 2009. Prior to launching Biki, he was with the University of Hawaii Economic Research Organization (UHERO) where he was the architect of the UHERO Dashboard Project, a community data visualization portal for Hawaii data and was heavily involved in civic technology and working with public data. He has held previous positions with Pacific Resources for Education and Learning, the Hawaii International Film Festival and Google.
