Michelle Kim Stone currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at Hawaii Employers Council, overseeing daily operations and leading member services. Previous experience includes roles as Of Counsel at Carlsmith Ball and Corporate Counsel & Director of Legal Operations at ProService Hawaii, where responsibilities involved managing legal risks and guiding management on employment law matters. Stone's legal career began in litigation as an Associate at both Starn O'Toole Marcus & Fisher and Bays Deaver Lung Rose & Holma. Additionally, prior positions included strategic roles at American Savings Bank, where Stone contributed significantly to legal oversight, strategy development, and operational execution. Educational qualifications include a J.D. Cum Laude from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, a B.A. in English from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and completion of the Pacific Coast Banking School.
