Jan Risberg has extensive experience in diving medicine, currently serving as a Diving Physician at NUI AS since 1990 and as a Consultant at Helse Bergen since January 1994. Previously, Jan Risberg held the position of Head of Submarine and Diving Medicine with the Norwegian Armed Forces from January 1988 until retirement on February 1, 2021. Jan Risberg earned a PhD in Medicine from the University of Bergen, where studies were completed between 1978 and 1985.
