Rick Taylor has extensive work experience in the field of tourism and convention management. Rick started their career in 1988 as the Manager of Meetings and Conventions at Caribbean. In 1993, they joined the Hattiesburg Convention Commission as the Executive Director and simultaneously held the same position at the Hattiesburg Tourism Commission. Rick continued working in these roles until July 2017.

Rick Taylor earned a Master of Science degree in Economic Development from The University of Southern Mississippi from 2000 to 2003.
