Andy Sun is an experienced researcher and software engineer with a strong background in quantum computing and agricultural IoT. Currently, Andy serves as an Agricultural IoT researcher at HAS Green Academy, focusing on predicting the health and welfare of dairy cows using behavioral and location data. Additionally, Andy is involved in the Quantum Measurement and Control System project at Yiwei Quantum. Previous roles include working as a Quantum Algorithms Researcher at Cornell University's McMahon Lab, where Andy specialized in variational quantum PDE solving, and as a Smart Farm Researcher at RACELab, optimizing pesticide spray and frost prediction through computational fluid dynamics. Andy's academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Mathematics from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics from UC San Diego, complemented by international educational experiences at The London School of Economics and Stanford University.
