Andy Tolliver is responsible for the team that manufactures and services Harvest robots, and they also oversee internal operations such as IT facilities. Andy travels to customer sites to assess their workflow and systems, prepares a plan for how the robots will fit into the customer’s operation, and sets up the robots and training staff in the use and maintenance of the robots.
Harvest Automation has created the first autonomous robots designed specifically for the nursery and greenhouse industry. The robots are beautifully designed and simple to use but they represent a brand new technology that needs to be carefully integrated with existing systems - hence Andy's job and job title. Considerations such as site conditions, equipment, plant varieties and many others need to be taken into account to make robotic automation truly successful. It is a fun, exciting and challenging job where Andy gets to work with great people in some truly picturesque spots.
Andy Tolliver attended Emerson College from 1995 to 1998, where they studied mass communication. Andy then attended Wilton High School from 1988 to 1992. Andy is currently taking a course on Hubspot Inbound.
