Andrew Vyrros

Senior Architect at Harvard University

Andrew Vyrros is a seasoned technology architect with extensive experience spanning over two decades in prominent organizations. Currently serving as Senior Architect at Harvard University since September 2020, Andrew leads the development of the OpenDP Library, an initiative aimed at enhancing access to privacy algorithm research. Prior roles include Principal at Wafflehead Labs, Technical Lead at Apple where Andrew was instrumental in deploying Apple's Differential Privacy across approximately 1 billion devices, and CTO at Layer, among various engineering positions at Apple and other technology firms. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, obtained between 1984 and 1988.
