Ruby Samad is an experienced labor law attorney and owner of Arbeidsrechtlab Advocatuur since May 2014, dedicated to making labor law transparent and clear. Additional roles include being a member of the Supervisory Board of Hartstichting since June 2022, participating in the inclusion and diversity platform of the Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten since January 2021, serving as an independent chair of the Appeal Committee for MSD Nederland in late 2020, and advising on integrity matters for Woningstichting Rochdale Amsterdam from 2018 to 2019. Ruby Samad has a solid foundation in labor law, having worked at various law firms since 2007 and gaining expertise in employment disputes, contract law, and corporate law, with a law degree from the University of Amsterdam. Education includes a recent program at TIAS School for Business and Society and the Dutch Bar Association’s vocational training.
