Brendan Mycock is an experienced professional in the energy trading sector, currently serving as the Head of EMEA Power Trading at Hartree Partners since September 2019. Prior to this role, Brendan worked at Macquarie Group as an Energy Trader and Associate from July 2013 to September 2019, specializing in power and gas markets. Brendan’s leadership skills were demonstrated during tenure as AU President at the London School of Economics from April 2011 to March 2012, overseeing the largest society with over 3,000 members. Brendan's early career included multiple banking and finance internships across reputable firms including Stellar Energy, Loeb Aron & Co., Citi Private Bank, Merrill Lynch, and KPMG from 2009 to 2012. Brendan holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from the London School of Economics.
