Leena A. has a diverse work experience that spans a variety of roles and industries. Leena began their career as a Sales Associate at Kohl's Department Stores in 2014 before transitioning to a Programming Intern at Sage Corps in 2016. In 2015, Leena joined the Islamic Center of Wheaton as a Seasonal Education Volunteer and later took on the role of Bookkeeper. Leena also worked as a Youth Organizing Program Instructor at the Arab American Action Network from 2017 to 2019. Leena then served as a Team Leader and Receptionist at DePaul University Career Center from 2015 to 2019. In 2019, they became a Diverse Learning Specialist at both Teach For America and Noble Network of Charter Schools. Most recently, Leena worked as a Clinical Educator and is currently the Director of Education at Hartgrove Behavioral Health System.

Leena A. completed their education with a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Special Education and Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education, which they pursued from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree from DePaul University between 2015 and 2019 with a focus on Human Resources and Entrepreneurial Management (Honors). Leena's high school education was at Streamwood High School, where they completed their studies between 2011 and 2015.
