Dr. Sabet Hashim is a highly accomplished cardiovascular surgeon currently serving as Surgeon-in-Chief and Chairman of Cardiac Surgery at Hartford HealthCare since June 2016, where also holds the position of Senior Vice President. Prior to this role, Dr. Hashim was the Director of Valve Surgery at Yale School of Medicine from April 2006 to June 2016 and served as President of Cardiothoracic Surgeons of New Haven P.C. for two decades from 1986 to 2006. Additional experience includes co-directing cardiac transplantation at Yale University School of Medicine from 1981 to 1986. Dr. Hashim's educational credentials include a Doctor in Medicine degree obtained at Yale University School of Medicine, complemented by studies at Columbia University and Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
