Joshua Sparrow has a diverse work experience. Joshua began their career at Pathfinder Schlumberger as a Field Engineer, where they conducted analysis of down hole inclination, azimuth, and lithology using slim and big tools. Joshua then moved on to SICK, Inc., where they worked as a Regional Sales Engineer for three years. In 2015, they joined Hartfiel Automation as a Sensor Product Manager, a position they currently hold.

Joshua Sparrow earned a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Joshua attended this institution from 2006 to 2011.
