Hilary Cronin serves as the Director of Emergency and Risk Management at James Madison University since November 2023, bringing extensive experience in emergency medical services. As a volunteer Paramedic with Harrisonburg Rescue Squad, Inc. since November 2007, Hilary provides advanced life-saving skills in a system that handles around 10,000 annual calls. Previous roles include Local Emergency Health Coordinator for the Virginia Department of Health, Critical Care Paramedic at Wintergreen Fire & Rescue, and various instructional positions in emergency care. Hilary holds a Master of Science in Disaster Medicine & Management from Philadelphia University and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from James Madison University.
