Dan Chandrakumar is a seasoned educational professional with extensive experience in mathematics education and leadership. Currently serving as Lead Mathematics Consultant at Harris Federation since September 2021, Dan has held various significant roles within the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM) since June 2012, including Accredited Professional Development Lead and Maths Hub Lead for London Central and North West. Previous positions include Head Teacher and Vice Principal at Sir Simon Milton Westminster UTC, and Head of Mathematics at St Marylebone School. Dan began the teaching career as a Maths Teacher with Teach First in 2006. Academic credentials include a Master of Engineering in Information Systems Engineering from Imperial College London and Qualified Teacher Status from Canterbury Christ Church University.
