Belinda Aguirre, M.Ed., currently serves as the Human Resources Operations Coordinator at Ria Money Transfer, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this role, Belinda was the People and Culture Coordinator at Harrah's Resort Southern California from September 2022 to November 2023. Belinda's educational background includes a Master's degree in Education from California State University San Marcos and a Bachelor's degree in Chicana/o Studies from UCLA. Experience in education includes serving as an Education Specialist at Escondido Union High School District, where responsibilities included case management for students with disabilities and curriculum development. Additional experience encompasses a range of roles, such as Counselor I at Center For Discovery and Bilingual Instructional Assistant at San Diego County Office of Education, providing support and instruction to diverse learning populations. Additionally, research internships at UCLA Labor Center and Black Women For Wellness involved data collection and analysis aimed at informing policy and health recommendations.
