John Dab is currently the Chair of the Advisory Council at Harpeth Conservancy. John has over 16 years of experience working as an attorney, most recently with Nissan Motor Corporation where they served as Senior Counsel. In this role, they were responsible for a variety of non-production purchasing contracts, including IT infrastructure and services outsourcing, software licenses, internet marketing, merchandise licenses, and logistics agreements. John also provided training to buyers on contract elements and the contract review process.

During their time at Nissan, John worked on a number of major projects, including leading the internal counsel on the outsourcing of IT services to three vendors and overseeing the implementation of these agreements. John also led the counsel on numerous global IS projects and represented the product planning business unit in negotiations for a long-term agreement for satellite-delivered data and telematics services. In addition, John was responsible for drafting a standard master purchase agreement for production parts to be utilized in Europe, Japan, and North America.

John has a long history of working in various legal roles and has extensive experience in negotiating and drafting contracts. John is a dedicated advocate for their clients and has a proven track record of successful negotiations.

John Dab received their Doctor of Law from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law. Prior to that, they received their BA in Management Science from UC San Diego.
