Matt Swanekamp, CPSM, is an experienced purchasing manager and small business owner with a strong background in procurement and contract management. Currently serving as the Purchasing Manager at Harper International Corporation since April 2022, Matt develops and implements purchasing procedures based on industry best practices while building a world-class purchasing department. Previously, Matt managed purchasing teams at Power Drives Inc. and Alfa Laval Niagara, focusing on supplier selection, material procurement, and cross-functional collaboration. As a small business owner since July 2017, Matt operates Swanekamp Design, specializing in portrait work and handmade wood and steel creations in collaboration with Charles Dusel. Matt holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, complementing a solid foundation in engineering with extensive purchasing management experience.
