Jilsander Twumasi started their work experience in 2021 as a Mayor's Entrepreneur at the Mayor's Fund for London. They then worked as a Business Development Associate at Gartner from September to December 2022. In 2017, they worked as a FOH Receptionist at Premier Inn until June 2023. Currently, Jilsander is working as a Recruitment Consultant at Harnham since July 2023.

Jilsander Twumasi completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Tourism Management with Language from the University of Greenwich in 2021. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in International Business Management at the University of West London, which they completed in 2022.
