Anna Capovilla is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the biotechnology and diagnostics sectors. Currently serving as CEO of Genmark, a member of the Roche group, since October 2022, Anna previously held significant roles at organizations like Harmonix, Arima Genomics, and Agilent Technologies, where responsibilities included enterprise strategy, corporate strategy, and product management. Notable positions also include Senior Director of Product Management at Illumina and various leadership roles at Roche, where Anna was instrumental in prenatal testing and molecular diagnostics. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science Honours in Infectious Disease and Immunology from the University of Cape Town and a Management Advancement Program from the University of the Witwatersrand.
