Tadd Foote

Lead Animator at Hardsuit Labs

Tadd Foote has a strong background in animation and game development, with experience in various roles and companies. Tadd began their career in 2005 at Griptonite Games / Amaze Entertainment, where they worked on multiple game titles as an animator and eventually became the Lead Animator for projects such as Spider-man: Web of Shadows (PSP) and Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines (PSP). In 2010, Tadd joined WB Games as a Senior Artist/Animator, contributing to the gameplay animation content of Shadow of Mordor. Tadd utilized handkey animation as well as motion-capture performance data to define creature personality and performance. Tadd also worked at Bungie as an Animator on a contract basis before joining 343 Industries as a Vignette Animator, creating high impact scenes for the Halo 4 Gameplay Demo at E3. In 2012, they worked as an Animator on Murdered Soul Suspect at Airtight Games, providing animation content for both gameplay and cinematic experiences. Tadd then moved on to Monolith Productions as a Cinematic Animator, responsible for final character animation in Shadow of Mordor's cinematic sequences. Tadd joined Microsoft in 2015, working as an Animator and contributing to projects for Microsoft HoloLens, including animation, rigging, Unity3D integration, C# scripting, and video editing. Tadd also had a role of Lead Animator (contract) at Hugoghost, creating animation for both hero characters and enemy bosses. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Animator at Hardsuit Labs, where they oversee animation development for their projects. Additionally, Tadd has their own personal studio called Time Miner, which they started in 2004, and has worked on numerous freelance and personal projects, with a focus on XR development.

Tadd Foote attended Pacific Lutheran University from 1993 to 1998, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Fine Art.
