Ariel Cohen is a seasoned health care reporter currently employed by CQ Roll Call since January 2021, focusing on the politics and policy of health care, particularly in relation to COVID-19. Prior experience includes serving as a health policy reporter for Inside Washington Publishers from 2017 to January 2021, where coverage centered on the COVID-19 pandemic and health reform debates. Additionally, Ariel worked as a campaign reporter for the Washington Examiner in 2015-2016, covered the Christian News section of the Jerusalem Post from 2014 to 2015 as an editor and staff writer, and contributed to The Flat Hat at the College of William & Mary from 2010 to 2014. Ariel's earlier roles included magazine intern and contributing writer for the National Trust for Historic Preservation and a press intern in the U.S. House of Representatives. Ariel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Religious Studies from William & Mary.
