Lisa Marie DiLiberto is a highly accomplished arts leader and educator with extensive experience in theatre and children's programming. Currently serving as the Co-Curator for the JUNIOR International Children's Festival at Harbourfront Centre since November 2022, Lisa Marie has played a pivotal role in curating performances and activities designed to inspire young audiences. As the Executive Artistic Director of Theatre Direct since January 2019, Lisa Marie has focused on creating inclusive theatre for young people. Additionally, Lisa Marie founded Balancing Act Canada, an initiative aimed at promoting equality and accessibility for performing arts caregivers. With a strong background in various artistic and educational roles, including Co-Creator/Producer for The Tale of a Town - Canada and Founding Artistic Director at FIXT POINT Arts & Media, Lisa Marie continues to contribute significantly to the arts community. Currently pursuing a PhD in Performance Ethnography & Placemaking at York University, Lisa Marie's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Theatre and Performance and a Theatre Arts diploma from George Brown College.
