Amy Bonomi, PhD, MPH, currently serves as the Dean of the College of Health and Human Services at San Diego State University, a position held since July 2024. Bonomi is also an Instructor in Organizational Culture and Organizational Development at the University of Denver, a Research Affiliate at the Harborview Injury Prevention & Research Center, and the Founder of Social Justice Associates, which focuses on empowering individuals and organizations through inclusive strategy and education. Previously, Bonomi was a Professor and Associate Dean of Strategic Initiatives at Northern Arizona University and held several roles at Michigan State University, including Professor, Founding Director of the Women's Leadership Institute, and Department Chair. Bonomi began an academic career as an Associate Professor at The Ohio State University. Educational credentials include a PhD and MPH in Health Services/Public Health from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago.
