Michael A. Rushanan is a seasoned professional in the field of medical security and cybersecurity, currently serving as Senior Research Scientist and Director of Medical Security at Harbor Labs since May 2016. Michael A.'s expertise includes managing projects, client interactions, and conducting comprehensive risk assessments and cybersecurity evaluations. Prior experience includes roles as Research Assistant and Research Program Analyst at Johns Hopkins University, where Michael developed software for the Health and Medical Security Lab and contributed to open-source cryptographic projects. Additional academic involvement includes visiting scholar positions at the University of Michigan, focusing on medical device analysis and security research. Michael's career began at the Department of Defense as a Systems Engineer.
