Steve Willobee is a seasoned professional in government and public relations, currently serving as Vice President of Government & Public Relations at Harbor Bay Ventures since August 2018. Prior experience includes holding the position of Chief Operating Officer at the Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) from September 2012 to August 2018, where a focus was placed on fostering business development in the region. Other significant roles include Director of Business Development at Soil and Materials Engineers, Inc. and Manager of Community Development and Funding at the U.S. Green Building Council West Michigan. Steve has also contributed as a Senior Project Professional with NTH Consultants, and as a Community and Brownfield/Redevelopment Specialist with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. Additionally, Steve served in the Michigan Army National Guard as a Bridge Engineer and Recruiter. Steve holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Lake Superior State University.
