Kasra Mokhtari, Ph.D., is a Thermal Controls Engineer at Harbinger since October 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Vehicle Controls Engineer at Endera, where significant contributions were made to thermal management systems for electric vehicles. As an ADAS/Software Engineer at INDI EV, Kasra played a key role in developing the prototype driving car Indi One, integrating vehicle control units and high voltage components. Previous research assistant roles at Penn State University involved designing advanced frameworks for pedestrian collision avoidance using deep reinforcement learning and developing algorithms for risk-aware decision-making in autonomous vehicles. Kasra holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, alongside a Bachelor's degree from Shiraz University.
