Grigory Kharitidis

Digital Marketing Manager at HappyOrNot

Grigory Kharitidis has extensive experience in digital marketing and destination marketing. In 2021, they began working as Digital Marketing Manager at HappyOrNot, where they are responsible for driving demand in organic and paid social, as well as capturing demand in Google Ads, MS Ads, and other channels. In 2020, they were a Startup Marketing Coach for Red Brick Accelerator, guiding startup teams through brand building, storytelling and digital marketing. From 2016 to 2020, they worked for Visit Tampere as Project Manager for International Marketing, Brand & Product Development, Project Manager for Marketing and Sales, Russia, and Marketing and Sales Manager, Russia. In 2012, they were Sales Manager, Russia at NordicMarketing GmbH, where they designed, sold and executed services and events for Finnish tourism companies and destinations. From 2010 to 2012, they ran their own destination marketing consultancy in St. Petersburg, and in 2010 they were an International Affairs Adviser for CIS Interparliamentary Assembly. In 2009, they were Sales Manager at Nordica Travel/ Nordica Centre for Business Cooperation, a Consultant for the EU Tempus project "Baltic MICE Tourism Training Center", and in 2005 they started as an Intern and Project Assistant at the Stockholm Region Office in St. Petersburg.

Grigory Kharitidis has an extensive education history. Grigory obtained a B.A. in International Relations from Saint Petersburg State University between 2004 and 2008. Grigory then earned an M.A. in International Relations from the same university between 2008 and 2010. Grigory went on to earn an M.Sc. (Specialist) in Economics and Management from Saint Petersburg State University between 2008 and 2011. In 2019, they earned a TMS Certificate Granted from The Marketing Seminar for Seth Godin's Akimbo Workshops. In 2020, they earned a STR Certificate Granted from The Story Skills Workshop for Seth Godin's Akimbo Workshops. Grigory also holds several certifications, including The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google Digital Garage (obtained in December 2020), Inbound Marketing Certified from HubSpot Academy (obtained in October 2020), Google Ads Search Certification from Google Digital Academy (Skillshop) (obtained in August 2021), SEO Fundamentals from Semrush (obtained in February 2021), and Inbound Certification from HubSpot (obtained in July 2016).
