Before that, they worked at Pearson as an Advisor Analyst from June 2011 to March 2017. Maria began their career as a Financial Counselor at Destination Debt Solutions from March 2009 to June 2011, and a Business Development Representative at Grimco, Inc. from December 2007 to March 2009.
Maria Laverghetta completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Marketing from Northeastern University in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Journalism and a Bachelor's of Music in Voice and Opera from the University of Florida between 2002 and 2007. In addition to their academic degrees, Maria also holds certifications as a Professional Scrum Masterâ„¢ I from Scrum.org (obtained in 2023) and as a Microsoft Excel Expert (Microsoft 365 Apps and Office 2019) from Microsoft (obtained in 2021).
