Piia Ahonen is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in tax advisory and management roles. Currently serving as a Specialist Partner in Tax at Hannes Snellman since January 2019, Piia previously held various positions at EY from September 2005 to January 2019, culminating in a role as Senior Tax Manager and Local Partner. Earlier career experiences include working as a Tax Clerk at the Tax Office for Major Corporations and the Local Tax Office of Helsinki, where responsibilities included coordinating tax audits and preparing reports. Additionally, Piia completed a Master of Laws with court training at the District Court of Mikkeli and holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Helsinki, as well as education from the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration.
