Joonas Vartia is an experienced legal professional specializing in mergers and acquisitions, currently serving as an Associate at Hannes Snellman since May 2021, after completing a trainee position in the same area. Prior experiences include a trainee role in Corporate M&A at Bird & Bird and legal trainee positions at DNA Oyj and Laissa Oy, where engagement included various legal services for businesses. Joonas also worked as a Junior Advisor at Business Finland, focusing on innovation and trade in the South Asian region. After beginning a career in purchasing at Heinon Tukku Oy, Joonas pursued a Master of Laws degree from the University of Helsinki and completed exchange studies in Economics, Law, and Society at Memorial University.
