Svenja Otten currently serves as the Head of Strategy at Haniel since April 2023. Prior to this role, Svenja held various positions at Axel Springer SE, including Director of Corporate Development and Senior Manager of Corporate Development & Chief of Staff to the CFO from January 2021 to February 2023. Svenja was a Senior Project Manager at Roland Berger between November 2014 and December 2020. Earlier experiences include Customer Business Development/Sales at Procter & Gamble, a Consultant Internship at Homburg & Partner, and Production Logistics Project Manager at Carl Zeiss SMT Inc. Additionally, Svenja was a Trainee at ZEISS Group from 2008 to 2011. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Management from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the Cooperative State University Baden-Wuerttemberg. Further education in the field is ongoing at the University of Victoria and UC Santa Barbara.
