Jane Newman is an accomplished design executive with extensive experience in the apparel industry, currently serving as Chief Design Officer for Global Innerwear at Hanesbrands Inc. since March 2021. Prior to this role, Jane held the position of Chief Design Officer for International Innerwear at Hanes Brands International. Jane's expertise encompasses multi-brand product portfolio management, design strategy development, and driving innovation and sustainability across diverse teams. Previous leadership roles include Creative Director for the Apparel Group at Hanes Brands Australasia and GM Design at Pacific Brands Underwear Group. Jane's career began at Bonds, where significant contributions to product innovation and design were made. Jane is a graduate of the University of Technology Sydney, holding a Bachelor of Fashion and Textile Design.
