Mike Lyons is a highly experienced technology professional with a diverse background in security engineering, software development, and information warfare. Currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer at Hancock Whitney since March 2020, Mike maintains crucial security controls and manages firewall rules and endpoint protection. Prior roles include Senior Software Developer at Metova CyberCENTS, where Mike developed a simulated internet platform, and Security Architect at AT&T Labs, contributing to the 5G solution design. Mike's career also includes independent consulting in software development, service in the United States Navy as an Information Warfare Officer, and earlier technical roles in both the Navy and the US Marine Corps. Mike holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of New Orleans.
