Valerie Frank, RACR, is an experienced talent acquisition professional with a background in human resources across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at HRSD since October 2022, Valerie focuses on developing innovative sourcing strategies to enhance diversity and strengthen the organization's employer brand. Previously, from March 2020 to May 2022, as a Human Resources Analyst II for the City of Norfolk, Valerie acted as a subject matter expert on employment policies and managed recruitment activities, fostering relationships with city leaders. Notably, during a long tenure at Sentara Healthcare from February 2001 to March 2020, Valerie excelled in sourcing top-tier talent for a large health system. Valerie's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Human Services Counseling from Old Dominion University, alongside studies at Sentara College of Health Sciences and Tidewater Community College.
