Bob Flores is currently an advisor at Hammerspace. Prior to that, they were a partner at Cognitio Corp, corporate representative at APL ISO Standards Work, and treasurer at the McLean Volunteer Fire Department.
Before that, Bob had a long and varied career with the Central Intelligence Agency. Bob started with the agency in November 1977 and held various positions over their 32 years there. These positions included various roles in the Directorate of Intelligence, Directorate of Support, the National Clandestine Service, and the Office of the CIO. Bob was also a representative on several government-wide information sharing committees and councils. Additionally, they had assignments in applications programming, training and education, contract and program management, and both line and staff management roles at all levels.
When they left the CIA in January 2009, Bob went to work for Applicology Incorporated before eventually becoming a partner at Cognitio Corp. Bob left that position in September 2018 to take on their current role as an advisor at Hammerspace.
Bob Flores studied statistics and Russian at Virginia Tech, where they earned their BS. Bob then went on to earn their MS in statistics from Virginia Tech as well.
