Anya Morgan

6th Grade Humanities Teacher at Hamlin Robinson School

Anya Morgan is an experienced educator currently serving as a 6th Grade Humanities Teacher, 3rd Grade Summer School Teacher, 8th Grade Reading Teacher, 6th Grade Resident Teacher, and 2nd Grade Summer School Teacher at Hamlin Robinson School since August 2021. Prior to this role, Anya worked as an Attorney at Lavender Rights Project, advocating for queer/trans youth and adults in various legal matters from September 2018 to October 2020. Anya's legal experience includes serving as a Legal Fellow at Northwest Justice Project, providing civil legal services to low-income transgender individuals, and as a Prisoners' Rights Intern at Texas Civil Rights Project, focusing on transgender healthcare policies in Texas prisons. Anya earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from The University of Texas School of Law and is pursuing a Master’s in Teaching at the University of Washington, which is expected to be completed in June 2024. Anya holds a Bachelor's degree in English and French from Wesleyan University.
