John Frangi is Head of Real Estate Markets at Hamilton Locke. John has extensive experience working in private practice, large corporations and government. John has been with Hamilton Locke since March 2018.

Before joining Hamilton Locke, John was Principal at the Corporate Property Law Group from February 2005 to July 2016. John was responsible for delivering legal services to all divisional trading and non trading operations and businesses both domestic and international including strategic business and project specific activities across the Woolworths Limited Group. John managed the output of a team of 10 property lawyers and 4 support staff in Australia and New Zealand on a range of matters including construction, planning, leasing, litigation, developments, environmental, licensing, business acquisitions, disposals, property acquisitions, regulatory compliance and mergers and acquisitions across the Woolworths Limited Group.

John has also worked as Group Counsel - Property at Woolworths Limited from February 2005 to July 2016. In this role, they were responsible for managing and directing workflow to external legal service providers both domestically and internationally.

John Frangi completed an Associate Diploma in Law at the University of Sydney. John then went on to practice law.
