Jamie Garland is a Portfolio Management Actuary at Hamilton since January 2024. Previously, Jamie served as a Senior Actuary - Cyber at AXIS Capital from January 2020 to January 2024, contributing to the Global Cyber pricing team responsible for Cyber, Tech, MPL, and Media products. Prior experience includes a role as a UKI Property Actuary at Chubb from November 2013 to January 2020, where Jamie managed actuarial pricing for the UKI Fire and Tech Lines portfolio and led efforts in portfolio analysis and pricing model development. Earlier positions at Chubb also included Actuarial Analyst roles focused on pricing and planning, as well as reserving. Jamie’s career began as a Solicitors' Clerk at Palmers Solicitors from September 2009 to July 2010. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Accounting and Financial Management from Loughborough University, completed in 2013.
