Jack Wolcowitz

Tackling challenges head-on is what motivates and drives real estate entrepreneur Jack Wolcowitz on a daily basis. After all, building a company from scratch takes determination and commitment, something that Jack doesn’t lack for. As the Chief Operating Officer of Hamilton Eastman, Jack has found a unique niche in the New York real estate market. With the booming business climate, Jack has over 1100 apartments in his management portfolio and has developed over 500,000 square feet of real estate property.

A hands-on guy, Jack prides himself on only working with assets that are a good fit with his brand. A native of Brooklyn, Jack got his start in the trucking business with B&B Haulers, where he was Chief Operating Officer. He eventually met Joel Wertzberger, his current business partner and CEO of Hamilton Eastman. Together, they have been involved in real estate acquisitions and sales ranging from $2 million to $80 million.

A Brooklyn-born holding company, Hamilton Eastman manages subsidiary companies with diversified asset portfolios that include real estate assets, mortgage note investments, and secondary market life insurance policies. Hamilton Eastman is comprised of several entities, including the Joyland Group, a real estate investment company specializing in commercial, residential, and mixed-used holdings located throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens.

Other entities include Joyland Management, a property management company; Prospect Developers II, a real estate development company; Angels of Fire, a burgeoning technology angel investing firm; and Bridge City Capital, a real estate financing platform.

Jack received his bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, and operations from Essex County College.. When he is not busy working, he enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
