Steve Smith has over 20 years of experience in sales and application support within the biotechnology and life sciences sectors. Currently serving as a Regional Sales Manager at Hamilton Company since November 2014, Steve focuses on fulfilling automation and liquid handling needs for clients in the academic, forensic, clinical, and biotechnology markets. Prior to this role, Steve worked as a Sales Engineer at Tecan and held various positions at Cell Biosciences, including FAS/Account Manager. Steve began a career in research as a Research Associate at Encysive Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities included molecular biology and assay development. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from Texas Tech University.
