Thorben Dittmer is an experienced project manager with a strong background in construction and offshore wind development. Currently serving as Project Manager U5 at Hamburger Hochbahn AG since October 2020, Thorben is overseeing the planning and construction of an underground track. Prior to this role, Thorben worked at Van Oord Offshore Wind Germany GmbH from October 2016 to September 2020, managing various offshore wind projects in the Baltic Sea region, as well as completing the Nordergründe Offshore Wind project. Thorben's career includes positions such as Project Engineer and Onshore Construction Manager at Bilfinger Marine & Offshore Systems, where involvement in the Nordergründe Offshore Wind project took place, and roles at RWE OLC GmbH as Site Coordinator and Offshore Construction Manager for the NSO wind farm. Early career experience includes positions as a Structural/Site Engineer at Josef Möbius Bau-AG and as a carpenter at Heinrich Nack GmbH. Thorben holds a Diplom Ingenieur (FH) degree in Construction from HafenCity Universität Hamburg, completed in 2009.
