Peter Nieuwenhuizen has extensive experience in the agricultural sector, currently serving as Director of Animal Guidance & Behaviour and leading Farm Research & Development at Halter since November 2019. Prior to this role, Peter Nieuwenhuizen worked as a Farm Worker/2IC on dairy farms in Waikato from July 2017 to November 2019. Earlier career stages include serving as a Change Manager at Gemeente Hoorn from October 2013 to August 2016 and as a Service Management Consultant at TOPdesk from January 2009 to October 2013. This diverse background demonstrates a strong combination of leadership in animal behaviour research and practical experience in farming operations.
