Eric Jang's work experience includes being the Vice President of Artificial Intelligence at 1X since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Google as a Senior Research Scientist from November 2020 to March 2022 and as a Researcher in the Google Brain team from June 2016 to November 2020. Eric also worked as a Masters Student at Brown University from August 2015 to August 2016. Additionally, they have experience as a Quantitative Applications Engineering at Two Sigma in May 2015, a Software Engineering Intern at Google in May 2014, an Intern at Pixar Animation Studios in June 2013, a Software Engineer specializing in Machine Learning at Spoton.it in December 2012, and a Researcher in the Brains in Silicon Lab at Stanford University in 2012. Eric started their career as a Researcher in the Elizabeth Blackburn Lab at UCSF from June 2010 to August 2011.

Eric Jang attended Cupertino High School from 2008 to 2012. Eric then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Applied Math and Computer Science at Brown University, starting in 2012 and graduating in 2016. During their time at Brown University, they also completed a Concurrent Master's degree in Computer Science, which was earned in the same time frame as their bachelor's degree.
