Mohammad Barkeshli is a Vice President at Hall Capital Partners LLC, focusing on the firm’s impact investing efforts, which he call Full Consequence Investing. He is responsible for research, identification, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring of investments across asset classes.
Prior to re-joining Hall Capital in 2021, Mohammad was a member of the investment team at Community Investment Management, an impact-focused private credit fund, where he helped launch a new Emerging Markets fund strategy. Mohammad also has experience working at Queensland Investment Corporation in London, where he focused on European transportation and water infrastructure transactions, at a Middle Eastern sovereign wealth fund, where he worked on sustainability-related investments, and at Mapbox, where he focused on business strategy and international expansion.
Mohammad first joined Hall Capital in 2012 as an Analyst in the Portfolio Management Group in New York, then moved to the Research group to serve as the first Associate in the Cross-Asset Research & Strategy team. Mohammad was a co-founder of Bakhita Girls, a secondary school in southern Tanzania, and has served on the boards of the Foundation for Sustainable Development as well as Global Glimpse.
