Guillermo Simón is an experienced professional in water resources, currently serving as the Director of Water Resources for Florida at Halff Associates since September 2019. Prior to this role, Guillermo held multiple positions at Taylor Engineering, Inc. from October 2001 to August 2019, including Senior Engineer in Coastal & Water Resources, Director of Engineering/Water Resources Group, Director of Hydrology & Hydraulics, and Staff/Project Engineer. Guillermo began the career in engineering as a Project Engineer at Consultoría Yáñez-Taylor from September 1999 to August 2001. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Coastal & Oceanographic Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, along with participation in the Florida Engineering Leadership Institute.
