Aki Kanayama possesses a diverse and extensive background in healthcare and research, currently serving in R&D Medical Affairs at Haleon since November 2020. Aki has experience as an Independent Contractor with Kenyon International Emergency Services, specializing as a Forensic Odontologist and English-Japanese translator. Previous roles include localization quality assurance testing at Keywords Studios and freelance interpretation for CanTalk (Canada) Inc. Aki has also contributed to electoral processes as an Assistant Voting Officer for Elections Manitoba and worked as an Associate Dentist at Suzuki Dental Clinic, where responsibilities included general dentistry and administration. In academia, Aki conducted significant research on Harmful Traditional Practices in Ethiopia at the National Museum of Ethnology and held a teaching assistant position at Tokyo Medical and Dental University.
