Matthew Schattgen is a seasoned professional in technical sales and engineering, currently serving as the Director of Technical Sales at Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc. since November 2021. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of Strategic Account Manager at Barnhart Crane & Rigging from August 2019 to October 2021. With extensive experience at XL Specialized Trailers from January 2011 to June 2019, Matthew progressed through various roles, culminating in the Director of Sales position where management of a high-performing sales team occurred. Matthew also served as Engineering Manager for New Product Development, Lead New Product Development Engineer, Lead Design Engineer, and Design Engineer, contributing significantly to product innovation, design, and customer-specific solutions. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, earned in 2010.
