Ying Yan is a Digital Product Manager at Topsoe since January 2021, bringing extensive academic and research experience from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where Ying held various positions including Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Postdoc from 2005 to 2020. Ying's research and teaching focus encompasses the Internet of Things, wireless network security, and network performance simulation and analysis, along with expertise in network architecture, particularly in heterogeneous wireless networks and energy-efficient optical access networks. Ying also served as a visiting scholar at Stanford University in 2009, researching network infrastructure design and modeling. Additionally, prior experience as a Scientist at VTT involved VHDL modeling and complexity analysis of digital RF processing systems. Ying Yan holds a Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering and a Master's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from DTU, along with a Bachelor's degree in Automation from Beijing University of Technology.
