Axel Wright Larsen is an experienced Project Manager currently working at Topsoe since October 2022, focusing on synthetic fuels production and Power-2-X technologies. Previous roles include Technical Project Manager at Scaletronic and Research Engineer & Project Manager at DTU Physics, where involvement in designing a Collective Thomson scattering diagnostic for the ITER fusion reactor occurred. Prior experience encompasses positions such as Product Specialist & Project Manager at Capres, Discipline Engineer at NKT Flexibles, and Engineering Consultant at IPU, with early academic experience as a Postdoc and PhD student at Risø National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy. Axel holds a PhD in Physics and an MSc in Physics from the University of Copenhagen, as well as a diploma in Project Management from Copenhagen University College of Engineering.
