Martin Gurney is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and governance. Since December 2005, Martin has served as a Board Member at Wiltshire Friendly Society Limited, also chairing the Investments Sub-Committee and participating in the Audit & Risk Sub-Committee. As the Owner and Tax Partner at Haines Watts since May 2004, Martin has provided expert tax consultancy services. Previous roles include Non-Executive Director at BSSEC from April 2015 to June 2019 and Committee Member for both the Finance and Audit Committees of Jephson Housing Association Group from 1997 to 2014. Martin's professional journey began as Associate Director at Solomon Hare, followed by owning Astuta Limited. Martin holds a BA Hons degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of the West of England, complemented by earlier education at King Edward VI Grammar School in Chelmsford.
